Our store opened in July 2005 at this location, as an independently owned Island Ink-Jet franchise. It was unfortunate that the franchisor closed on September 01, 2009 due to insolvency, just prior to their 10th anniversary.
As of January 01, 2010 we have adopted the new business name of think refill. Our customers experience the same great savings, service and knowledgeable refill technicians under the new brand.
Are you aware that to think refill is to save when you print! Not only do you save up to 60% off the cost of buying a new brand name cartridge, but by using our refill services, you also save the environment.
Every year over 60 million inkjet cartridges are sold across Canada, with over 700 million across North America. Of these it is estimated that only 5% get recycled. An ink cartridge can take over 1000 years to decompose naturally.
It requires approximately 74ml (2.5 ounces) of oil to produce a single inkjet cartridge and 3.3 liters of oil to produce a single laser cartridge.
Since our opening in July 2005, and as of July 31, 2010, we are proud, that through our services, this store has diverted approximately 71,081* laser and inkjet cartridges from landfill. This equates to energy savings of 17,364 liters of oil!
